Sumit Singh Maharjan is an Assistant Professor and Consultant Ophthalmologist at Metro Eye Care and Patan Hospital, Lalitpur. He specializes in cataract surgery and anterior segment surgeries.
He earned his medical degree from Nepalgunj Medical College and completed ophthalmology training at the Nepal Medical College under Kathmandu University. He further pursued an anterior segment fellowship at Mechi Eye Hospital, where he mastered phacoemulsification cataract surgery and anterior segment procedures.
Passionate about teaching, He actively trains ophthalmology residents and medical students at Patan Hospital. He has presented at numerous national and international conferences and has authored articles in peer-reviewed journals.
